The Nature-Rich Pledge

The future will belong to the nature-smart—those individuals, families, businesses, and political leaders who develop a deeper understanding of the transformative power of the natural world and who balance the virtual with the real. The more high-tech we become, the more nature we need.
A leader of the New Nature* movement, journalist and author of the bestsellers Last Child in the Woods and The Nature Principle, Richard Louv brings insights into the health, child development, and environmental fields.

In an interview with National Geographics, Louv said, "the word sustainability is problematic, because to most people it means stasis, survival, and energy efficiency. We have to do those things, but that only goes so far in igniting the imagination. Increasingly, I talk about a nature-rich society, a different way to look at the future that is not just about survival, but about something much better."
"Do you really just want a sustainable marriage? " said Louv, during a lecture at Notre Dame of Maryland University. The audience chuckles at the simplicity of this fresh perspective.
The U.S. Green Building Council claims that implementing green products and services helps improve worker productivity by reducing absenteeism and health care costs, leading to increased profitability. A commitment to a green program increases employee productivity by 5-7%. There are significant reductions in health care costs, reducing respiratory diseases by 9-20% and asthma by 18-25% . This generates an estimated savings of $17-$48 billion annually in lost work and health care costs. A healthy environment that does not sacrifice cleanliness, plays a vital role in employee retention and lowering occupancy turnover, improving profitability.
Our Nature-Rich Pledge...
...takes an innovative approach to our client's maintenance and operations. Integrating green cleaning techniques using certified green cleaning solutions with stringent quality control requirements, helps promote and assist our clients to become sustainable companies.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), stated that half of the population attending school may be exposed to polluted indoor air, lead, asbestos, chemical fumes, pesticides, molds and other toxins, along with overcrowding and poor sanitation.

We believe our focus in providing green services with professional capabilities differentiates us from the rest.

A well-designed green cleaning program can help reduce these harmful exposures and yield many other positive benefits for occupants, custodial staff, administrators and the environment.

After considering our clients goals and expectations, we customize our Nature-Rich Pledge Program by implementing the following:
